Don't know why I've been doodling on the computer lately... mostly in the mornings before everyone wakes up. (I've sworn off digital painting for myself just because that's what I do at work all day.) I've only made a few digisketches, and I'm not exactly enthusiastic with what I've done, but like eating Fritos on a road trip I can't stop going back for more. Maybe I'm just waiting until I puke. Either way, here I am posting these muddy bunch of people who desperately need more time and care. And of course I'll say I'm going to post a finished version of this later, but I won't. And if I didn't post this now, I'd never post it because I'd never finish it. So why even post it? I don't know, but it's posted.

These pieces are more like day old undies that should really be washed or changed. I'm just too lazy to do my laundry. I'm not quite at the point where others notice the stench, but a festering itch is brewing. I'm going to do something about it before it becomes a medical issue. Stay tuned.

(I actually shower twice a day and I have impeccable hygiene.)

Here's some old stuff I did at my last job - the now defunct, Factor 5. I guess I'm taking a risk by posting these since I didn't get permission, but I'm not sure if I need to since they're no longer in business. Anybody know how that stuff works? Hopefully it's ok. I'll do more research on it... but until then, here are some concepts I had fun making. Enjoy.

new journal

2 weekends ago I lost another unfinished and neglected journal. (That's 3 strikes in a row for me.) Once I got home and realized that I had placed it on top of my car and drove off I punched myself in the head... pretty hard. I do that once in a while to keep myself in check.

But in all seriousness, I used to live in my journals. I would draw and paint all the time... sitting, walking, driving, going to the bathroom... and then all of a sudden I stopped drawing in them. I would use the excuse that I was 'too busy' to make myself feel ok. I was busier with life in general, but that wasn't the reason. I just became lazy. 3 years of laziness finally got to me which made me started drawing again... and then I lost my 'hands' journal 2 weekends ago.

So... here I am today. New journal appropriately titled. 1st entry. Refreshed perspective on journal keeping. I hope I don't lose this one because I made a promise to do something even more painfully horrible to myself if I do.
